Tangkak: A woman lost her life, and five others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on Jalan Payamas, Taman Sentosa, early this morning. The accident involved five vehicles, resulting in significant disruption and a tragic loss.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tangkak Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Zamri Ayub reported that an emergency call was received at 1.58 am, prompting the deployment of an FRT engine and an EMRS unit comprising eight personnel. The vehicles involved in the collision included a Perodua Viva, Perodua Myvi, Toyota Hiace, Toyota Vios, and Toyota Hilux.
The deceased was a 56-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Perodua Viva, confirmed dead at the scene by Ministry of Health personnel. In addition to the fatality, two other passengers in the Viva-a 60-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man-sustained injuries. Furthermore, three occupants of the Perodua Myvi were also injured: a 27-year-old woman, a 61-year-old woman, and a 14-year-old male teenager.
