Seremban: A woman was tragically killed while changing a flat tyre on her car in the emergency lane at KM 260.6 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) southbound near here this morning. The incident involved a container truck that collided with the victim, resulting in her death at the scene.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Seremban District Police Chief ACP Azahar Abdul Rahman reported that the victim, a 31-year-old woman driving a Proton X50, sustained severe injuries. She was declared dead upon impact. The victim had been traveling from Gadong toward her workplace in Senawang when the right rear tyre of her car deflated, necessitating a stop in the emergency lane.
While attempting to change the tyre, the woman was struck by a container truck driven by a 24-year-old man traveling in the left lane. This unfortunate collision led to her immediate death. The police chief added that the victim’s remains have been transported to Rembau Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
