Woman Escapes Unhurt After Tree Falls On Car Along Ipoh-Lumut Highway

Ipoh: A woman faced a terrifying ordeal this afternoon when a tree fell on her car along the Ipoh-Lumut Highway near the quarry area, heading towards Batu Gajah. Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, confirmed that an emergency call about the incident was received at 4.03 pm, prompting a prompt response from the Pasir Putih fire station.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the fire engine arrived at the scene at 4.10 pm and discovered that a forest tree had collapsed onto the front of a Perodua Myvi driven by a 41-year-old woman. Remarkably, the victim managed to exit the vehicle safely and did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
