Wife Shares Last Words of Corporal Killed in Teluk Intan Crash

Teluk Intan: “Don’t worry, I’m used to working far away,” were the last words Corporal Amiruddin Zabri told his wife, Norazian Mohd Joned, before being killed along with eight co-workers in a crash in Teluk Intan. The tragic incident occurred this morning, leaving families and colleagues in mourning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Norazian, 38, viewed her husband’s assignment to Teluk Intan as routine and never anticipated such a tragic outcome. She learned of the crash from a co-worker, who informed her that it involved Unit 5 personnel from Sungai Senam. Efforts to contact her husband were unsuccessful until his colleagues reached out to confirm the devastating news.

Norazian recounted the last time she saw her husband, which was at noon the previous day when he was preparing for work. She expressed her sadness, noting that Amiruddin was eagerly anticipating the birth of their daughter, a moment they had awaited for over a decade.

Residing in Gopeng, Norazian shared that her husband had been serving in the police force since 2011. Amiruddin had been posted in various locations, including Johor, before his current assignment at Sungai Senam, Ipoh.
