Welfare and Comfort of Malaysian Haj Pilgrims in Arafah Emphasized

Arafah: The welfare and comfort of Malaysian Haj pilgrims in Arafah remain a top priority for the country's Haj management, with all services closely monitored to ensure the smooth running of the peak haj rituals. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr. Zulkifli Hasan stated that the monitoring covered accommodation, logistics, healthcare, and the overall well-being of pilgrims throughout the masyair operations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, feedback received so far showed a good level of satisfaction among pilgrims with the facilities provided, although the authorities remained open to suggestions for improvement. Dr. Zulkifli mentioned that most of the feedback received has been positive, while constructive views have also been considered as efforts to improve services for pilgrims continue. This was emphasized after his inspection of the accommodation tents and healthcare center for Malaysian pilgrims in Arafah.

Healthcare personnel have shown strong commitment in ensuring pilgrims with health issues receive prompt and appropriate treatment, allowing them to continue performing their religious duties comfortably. Dr. Zulkifli stressed that a comprehensive approach encompassing welfare, healthcare, and comfort is essential to ensure pilgrims can fully focus on their worship, particularly in Arafah, the pinnacle of the Haj pilgrimage.

He also called on Malaysians to continue praying for the well-being of the country's pilgrims so that their Haj journey would proceed smoothly and they would be blessed with a mabrur Haj.
