Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in nine states until 12 noon today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia in a statement announced that the states expected to be affected include Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak. Additionally, parts of Pahang such as Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, and Bentong are also on the alert list.

The weather conditions are similarly anticipated in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and areas in Negeri Sembilan like Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, and Rembau.
