Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in five states until 1 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia announced in a statement that the states affected include Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Selangor, and Johor. In Kedah, the areas expected to be impacted are Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, and Kota Setar. Meanwhile, in Perak, the warning covers regions such as Kerian, Larut Matang, Selama, Manjung, and Bagan Datuk.

The warning extends to Selangor, specifically targeting Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, and Klang. In Johor, the areas involved are Pontian, Kulai, Johor Bahru, and Kota Tinggi. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and remain vigilant as weather conditions could lead to disruptions.
