Warning Of Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain In Almost Entire Country Up To 6 PM

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in almost all states apart from Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya until 6 PM today. MetMalaysia, in its warning at 2:25 PM, indicated that the weather conditions are expected to occur throughout the states of Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in Kedah, the areas affected include Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu, while in Penang, the warning covers Seberang Perai Utara, Seberang Perai Tengah, and Seberang Perai Selatan. The weather conditions are also expected in Terengganu, impacting Dungun and Kemaman, and in Pahang, affecting Cameron Highlands, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin.

The areas in Negeri Sembilan that are anticipated to experience these conditions include Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, and Rembau. In Johor, Kluang, Mersing, and Kota Tinggi are included in the alert. For Sarawak, the warning extends to Sarikei (Julau), Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah (Matu), Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Telang Usan), and Limbang (Lawas).

Meanwhile, in Sabah, alerts have been issued for the Interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Beaufort, Keningau, and Tambunan), West Coast, Tawau (Tawau, Kunak, and Lahad Datu), and Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, and Sandakan).
