Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to hit almost all states in Peninsular Malaysia and several areas in Sarawak until 5 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a statement at noon today forecasting bad weather across Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor. The Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are also expected to be affected.
On the East Coast, the warning includes the Gua Musang area in Kelantan, while in Terengganu, it covers the Hulu Terengganu, Dungun, and Kemaman districts. In Sarawak, areas like Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, and Sibu (Sibu and Kanowit) are anticipated to experience similar weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the Mukah division (Tanjung Manis, Daro, and Matu) and Kapit (Song) are also forecasted to be under the same weather conditions.
