Bandar tun razak: Bandar Tun Razak MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today handed out aid to 150 household heads in the constituency as part of the Sejahtera MADANI: Kebajikan-Sumbangan Kasih Ihsan Ramadan initiative. The Prime Minister's wife said that each registered household head in the eKasih system (the national poverty data bank) received RM500 to help with Aidilfitri preparations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in addition to the aid distributed to household heads, 200 more recipients across Bandar Tun Razak received support through the Ziarah Ramadan MADANI programme. 'We are committed to distributing aid directly to those who need it and making sure no one is left behind,' she stated.

The Sejahtera MADANI: Kebajikan-Sumbangan Kasih Ihsan Ramadan initiative is a strategic collaboration between the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister's Department (ICU JPM) and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, the main contributor to this year's welfare initiative. Launched in 2019, the programme aims to strengthen corporate social responsibility and foster collaboration between the government and the private sector to extend aid to the underprivileged.

The programme also saw the handover of the RM400,000 Taman Mewah Sepak Takraw Court Roof Project under the People-Friendly Programme, intended to provide a better facility for the local community.
