Merotai: Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Merotai state seat Datuk Ruji Ubi said that he could serve as a link between the people of Merotai and Putrajaya if voters give him the mandate in the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election. He highlighted the need for substantial allocations for development in Merotai and expressed confidence in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s willingness to consider these needs.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ruji stated, “I am confident that the Prime Minister will be willing to listen and consider the allocations needed for the benefit of the people of Merotai. I need support from all quarters so that I can serve effectively.” He emphasized the importance of the opportunity provided by the Prime Minister as a significant chance for Merotai residents to benefit from his potential role.

Ruji also mentioned that the Prime Minister stressed the importance of ensuring that any allocation provided to Sabah should be spent responsibly, adhering to principles of good governance and avoiding any leakage.
