Veteran Actor Nu’man Mohd Salleh Passes Away After Battling Cancer

Kuala lumpur: Veteran actor Nu’man Mohd Salleh, affectionately known as Charlie, has died at the age of 71 after a battle with stage four intestinal cancer. The actor passed away at his daughter’s home in Sri Rampai at approximately 8.15 pm, as confirmed by his brother, Yusri Salleh.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Yusri stated that Nu’man had been bedridden since Thursday and was admitted to Kuala Lumpur Hospital, where his condition was diagnosed as intestinal cancer. Despite being admitted to intensive care, he was allowed to return home on Friday. His health was in a critical state, and he was unable to speak in his final days.

Funeral arrangements have been made, with prayers scheduled to take place at Salahuddin Al-Ayubbi Taman Melati Mosque before zohor prayers. Following the prayers, Nu’man will be laid to rest at the Raudhatul Sakinah Taman Selaseh Muslim Cemetery. Nu’man, who was a single father, is survived by his seven children.
