Vesco-Salvinelli Clinch Sixth Victory in 1000 Miglia 2025 in Historic Alfa Romeo

Brescia: After five intense days of racing, covering 1,900 kilometers and featuring over 400 classic cars, the forty-third edition of the 1000 Miglia concluded today in Brescia. This special edition revived the ‘figure-eight’ route reminiscent of the epic pre-war races, symbolically connecting the North and South, along with the East and West, from the Adriatic Sea to the Tyrrhenian coast.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli emerged victorious once again, driving their trusty 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Ss. This victory marks their sixth championship win in the prestigious race. The competition was fierce, with Daniel Andres Erejomovich and Gustavo Llanos providing substantial rivalry in their own 1929 6C 1500 Ss, even briefly taking the lead at the end of the fourth day. Meanwhile, the third place was secured by the duo Tonconogy-Ruffini, maneuvering a 1931 6C 1750 Gs.

The re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia continues to celebrate the spirit of classic car racing, drawing participants and enthusiasts from various regions to partake in this historic and culturally rich event.
