Kuala lumpur: Vantris Energy Bhd's share price experienced a significant increase of up to 10.39% in early trade today after the company announced it had secured two substantial work orders. These contracts, valued at RM1.4 billion, were awarded by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the transportation and installation (T and I) of offshore facilities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, by 10:05 am, the share price of the integrated oil and gas services company had risen by four sen to 42.5 sen, with a trading volume of 6.49 million shares. The work orders were obtained through Vantris Energy's indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd. The contracts involve the provision of T and I services for two major projects: the Sepat Integrated Redevelopment Project and the Belud South Greenfield Development Project.
Both work orders are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026. The scope of work for the Belud South project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2027, while the Sepat project is anticipated to conclude by the third quarter of 2029.
