Kuala Lumpur:The upgrading project for the new block of the Emergency and Trauma Department at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) is now in its final phase of implementation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the HKL Management stated that several issues need repair and improvement during the inspection and completion process before the facility can be deemed fully complete.

The management emphasized that the related work is being prioritized, with an expected resolution by the end of 2026. HKL is committed to ensuring all repair work meets safety, functional, and quality requirements before finalizing the project.

Throughout this period, the operation and delivery of health services at the HKL Emergency and Trauma Department will continue as usual. HKL also appreciates the public's cooperation, patience, and understanding during the upgrading works and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
