Mexico city: Univar Solutions M©xico, a subsidiary of Univar Solutions LLC, has announced a new distribution agreement with LANXESS, a global leader in specialty chemicals. This collaboration, facilitated through Univar Solutions' Ingredients + Specialties division, is set to enhance the availability of LANXESS's additives portfolio for lubricant and metalworking fluid applications throughout Mexico. The distributed products will include detergents, corrosion inhibitors, antiwear additives, sulfur-based extreme pressure additives, antioxidants, yellow metal inhibitors, and comprehensive additive packages.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Jorge Buckup, president of Latin America for Univar Solutions, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership with LANXESS. He noted that the collaboration is a pivotal move in strengthening Univar Solutions' specialty chemicals portfolio in Mexico. By integrating LANXESS's reputable additive technologies with Univar Solutions' extensive global distribution network and significant local presence, the company aims to deliver high-performance solutions that boost efficiency and reliability in industrial markets. Buckup highlighted the objective to position products closer to customers and expedite delivery times, thereby supporting and enhancing the lubricants and metalworking fluids value chain across the region.
