Senawang: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim assured that the Unity Government at the Federal level remains stable and robust, aiming to secure economic growth and maintain investor confidence.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar emphasized the effective collaboration among parties within the Unity Government, demonstrated by the consistent execution of Cabinet meetings. Despite electoral competition at the state level, these meetings have proceeded smoothly. Anwar remarked, "At the state level, there might be issues, but at the Federal level, it is not threatened yet, and hopefully, Insha'Allah, it remains so after the elections."

Anwar expressed these views during the Jelajah Kekal Harapan campaign ceramah, in conjunction with the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election in Senawang. He highlighted the recent Cabinet meeting he chaired, which included prominent figures such as Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Transport Minister Anthony Loke, and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Anwar stressed the importance of preserving this stability to ensure the country's economy remains undisturbed and attractive to investors.

The event also saw the presence of key leaders, including Amanah President Mohamad, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Steven Sim, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, and Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Amirudin Shari. Anwar reiterated his support for Aminuddin as the preferred candidate for Negeri Sembilan's Menteri Besar, citing his exemplary service record and governance.

In the upcoming state election, Pakatan Harapan (PH) is contesting all 36 State Legislative Assembly seats with candidates from PKR, DAP, and Amanah. The Election Commission has scheduled polling for August 1, with early voting on July 28.
