UniSZA Pioneers Advanced Technology In Lake Conservation Efforts

Kuala Terengganu: An analysis by UniSZA’s East Coast Environmental Research Institute (ESERI) previously indicated that the lake’s Water Quality Index (WQI) had deteriorated to Class IV. Following recent advancements in technology implemented by UniSZA, the WQI has seen a significant improvement, reaching Class II.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the new water treatment system introduced by UniSZA has a capacity to produce up to 500,000 liters of treated water daily. This development marks a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance environmental sustainability.

Fadzli, a representative from UniSZA, commented on the impact of the project, stating, “This project enhances UniSZA’s reputation in promoting environmental sustainability among higher education institutions.” The initiative by UniSZA serves as a model for other institutions aiming to improve ecological standards through advanced technological solutions.
