According to BERNAMA News Agency, UniSZA vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Fadzli Adam stated that the strategic collaboration aims to enhance veterinary education, high-impact research, and the development of competent and competitive talent in line with current industry needs. This partnership aligns with the aspirations of the UniSZA Strategic Plan (PSU) 2023-2030, implementing several key strategies.

"This collaboration is expected to serve as a strong platform to enhance opportunities for industrial training, talent development, professional expertise sharing, and the implementation of academic and research programmes that benefit students, lecturers, and industry players," Fadzli remarked after the MoU signing ceremony at the Gong Badak Campus. Both parties agreed to focus on strengthening teaching, learning, and practical training activities, including industrial training, clinical exposure, veterinary practical sessions, and animal patient handling training.
