Rembau: The Faculty of Communication and Media Studies (FCMS) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Negeri Sembilan, Rembau Campus, has launched MassComm Rembau: Pulsing Through a Decennium to mark nearly a decade of shaping media education and discourse.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Negeri Sembilan Youth and Sports Development Committee chairman Datuk Mustapha Nagoor emphasized the need for today's youth to possess sharp thinking and strong principles to navigate an increasingly complex media landscape.
The book traces FCMS UiTM Rembau's journey, showcasing its academic work, student development, and role in boosting media literacy and critical thinking.
COMMPULSE project head Nurul Izzah Mohamad Zaky explained that the programme, run by final-semester Diploma in Communication and Media students, encourages the public to reflect on the media's role in shaping collective understanding.
Nurul Izzah highlighted a key feature of the programme, the Media Matters: Navigating Truth, Trust and Transparency forum, which featured representatives from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, the Malaysian Press Institute, and the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia.
