Two Moderate Earthquakes Strike Indonesia And Philippines

Kuala lumpur: Two moderate earthquakes were recorded in Indonesia and the Philippines this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) reported a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the Banda Sea, Indonesia, at 11.05 am. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 103 kilometres, approximately 398 kilometres southeast of Ambon.

Earlier in the day, at 10.56 am, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Philippine Islands region.
