Two Final-Day Golds Seal Malaysia’s Best Asian Junior Bowling Campaign

Kuala lumpur: Malaysia wound up their campaign in the 2025 Asian Junior Bowling Championship with two more golds and one silver in the boys’ and girls’ masters events respectively yesterday. With the results, Malaysia secured a total haul of seven golds, one silver, and five bronzes, marking the country’s best performance in the history of the championship.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the events held in Doha, Qatar, saw Qurratu’ain Izdihar Pozi once again stealing the limelight by snatching the gold medal in the masters category, completing a clean sweep of five gold medals in all her events. The 17-year-old delivered a stellar performance to edge out compatriot Adelia Nur Syazalee 378-370 over two games in the final.

In the boys’ category, Aqil Faizal demonstrated his strength by claiming his second individual gold after defeating Kuwait’s Nasser Alkandari 461-404 over two games in the final.
