Kuala lumpur: Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad (‘Berjaya Sompo’) has introduced an enhancement to its flagship travel insurance plan, SOMPO TravelSafe+, with the addition of Sompo Smart Delay. This new service benefit allows travellers to enjoy complimentary access to airport lounges and travel experiences when their flights are delayed by one hour or more.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, travellers interested in this benefit need to purchase the SOMPO TravelSafe+ Elite A or Elite B plan and register their flight details at least three hours before departure. In the event of a delay, they will automatically receive a LoungeKeysS digital pass via email or SMS, providing access to over 1,800 lounges in more than 500 airports worldwide.
