Tunku Negarawan Ulung Exhibition Offers Deeper Insight Into Nation-building Legacy

Kuala lumpur: The 'Tunku Negarawan Ulung: Pengasas Negara Bangsa' exhibition is now open to the public at the National Museum from Feb 1 to March 29, offering visitors deeper insight into the country's nation-building journey and the foundations of national unity.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of National Unity (KPN) stated that the exhibition, organised by the National Archives of Malaysia, highlights the pivotal role played by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj in laying the foundations of a nation built on understanding, tolerance, justice, and consensus among races.

Its Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang emphasized that understanding the history and legacy of past statesmen is crucial in shaping civilisation and reinforcing nation-building for the future. He mentioned that the younger generation, in particular, must recognise and value the leadership, wisdom, and spirit of unity passed down by Tunku Abdul Rahman to ensure the nation can continue to thrive on the enduring foundations of harmony.

The ministry highlighted that Tunku Abdul Rahman's leadership not only guided the country to independence but also provided a framework for governing and developing the nation within a harmonious, pluralistic society. Open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, the exhibition showcases a collection of archival materials and historical documents, offering the public an educational experience while fostering the spirit of patriotism.

The public, particularly youth and students, are invited to explore the exhibition to appreciate the nation's history and draw inspiration from Tunku Abdul Rahman's enduring legacy of nation-building.
