Tunku Azizah Urges Pupils To Practise Healthy Eating Habits

Pahang: Tengku Ampuan of Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah has called on school students to practise healthy eating habits to maintain good health. Tunku Azizah emphasized the negative impact of consuming processed and unhealthy food on an individual’s health.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tunku Azizah noted the increasing incidence of diabetes among children and urged them to opt for healthier food choices. Her Royal Highness made these remarks while gracing the Education Awards 2024 ceremony at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tunku Azizah.

Also present at the event were Pahang Agriculture, Agro-based Industry, Biotechnology and Education Committee chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Soffi Abd Razak and SK Tunku Azizah headmistress Norsalwa Abdul Wahab. During her address, Tunku Azizah expressed her satisfaction with the school’s performance and the achievements of its students.

Tunku Azizah later presented awards to over 100 outstanding students. Following the award presentation, she visited the 2024/2025 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Innovation Awards exhibition and inaugurated the school’s digital classroom.
