Tuanku Muhriz Graces Kuala Pilah Bermunajat Programme

Kuala lumpur: Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir attended the Kuala Pilah Bermunajat programme here tonight. His Royal Highness was accompanied by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan. Held at Masjid Jamek Yamtuan Raden, the programme was also attended by Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Marhamah Rosli.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event began with Maghrib prayers, followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin, tahlil, and prayers for blessings, before continuing with Isyak prayers and solat hajat led by imam Muhammad Afiq Kamaludin. The gathering was attended by 40 tahfiz students from Maahad Tahfiz Darul Ulum, Kuala Pilah, and about 500 congregants. After the Isyak prayers, Tuanku Muhriz joined members of the public for a dinner reception held at the mosque compound.

Meanwhile, Zulkifli, when met by reporters, said the Kuala Pilah Bermunajat programme was held to pray for the well-being of Negeri Sembilan and the country. 'Alhamdulillah, we saw a strong turnout from youths, senior citizens, religious agencies, and government departments. Through this programme, we hope to spread the message of peace, harmony, and foster love among members of the community,' he said.

He mentioned that the Kuala Pilah Berselawat dan Munajat Perdana Negeri Sembilan programme would be held tomorrow at Dataran Melang here to encourage the practice of selawat (sending salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad) among Muslims. 'Tonight, we perform munajat, and tomorrow we will recite selawat. God willing, many will join us in praising and sending blessings upon Prophet Muhammad SAW,' he said.
