Kuala Lumpur: Truecaller, the leading global communications platform, has announced its biggest ever update for iPhone, bringing its advanced spam and scam blocking capabilities to iPhone users worldwide. With this update, iPhone users will now have access to Truecaller’s comprehensive call identification features, aligning their experience with that of Android users.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the update leverages Apple’s Live Caller ID Lookup framework, which was specifically developed to enable apps like Truecaller to provide live caller ID while maintaining user privacy. This framework utilizes homomorphic encryption, a cutting-edge technology, and Truecaller has become the first to implement it at scale for Caller ID services.
