Kuala lumpur: Tourism Malaysia is committed to ensuring continuous improvements in future programme organisation as part of efforts to elevate the nation's cultural heritage through the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the agency stated its appreciation and acknowledgment of the feedback and suggestions from the public regarding the recent staging of Citrawarna 2026 at Dataran Merdeka. The feedback encompassed areas such as audience seating arrangements, viewing angles, programme scheduling accuracy, technological use, and creative content in performances.
Additionally, there were calls for greater involvement of local composers, musicians, and creative talents in producing performance content in the future. The agency assured that all matters raised would be reviewed and appropriate follow-up actions would be implemented.
Tourism Malaysia also expressed gratitude to the public for their enthusiastic reception, which marked the programme's return after a six-year hiatus. The three-day event showcased over 3,500 dancers and arts practitioners from across the country, representing various ethnicities through activities such as Citra Perarakan, Citra Rasa, Citra Budaya, and Citra Seni.
The agency highlighted that this achievement was made possible through the dedication of thousands of dancers, production crews, volunteers, technical teams, security personnel, logistics teams, and stage management crews, expressing deep gratitude for their sacrifices and commitment.
