Tokyo: Toshiba Electronic Devices and Storage Corporation (“Toshiba”) has initiated sample shipments of ‘TB9M001FTG,’ the second product in its Smart Motor Control Driver ‘SmartMCDS’ series. This microcontroller features a relay driver function and a LIN transceiver function, designed to drive relays and control two brushed DC motors, making it ideal for automotive applications requiring brushed DC motor control.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the push for electrification in automotive equipment has led to a demand for secondary devices with higher performance, enhanced functionality, compact designs, and reduced component count. Toshiba has addressed these demands by developing the new product, aligning with the industry’s evolving needs.
