Singapore: Twenty medtech companies will participate in the sixth annual Asia Pacific (APAC) Accelerator programme. MedTech Innovator APAC managing director, Fredrik Nyberg, stated that this year’s cohort is addressing significant challenges in healthcare with innovative ideas and technologies. The initiative aims to connect these startups with industry partners and expedite their market entry, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes across APAC and globally.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MedTech Innovator APAC brings together leading startups with investors, business leaders, and service professionals in the medtech industry to promote the commercialisation of impactful technologies in the region. The 2025 cohort companies will compete for up to US$300,000 in non-dilutive cash prizes and awards. This year, more than 550 companies applied for the APAC programme. Following a comprehensive selection process, 60 companies were invited to pitch, and 20 were chosen for the 2025 cohort.
The Asia Pacific Accelerator 2025 Cohort will participate in the programme’s kick-off event, joining the MedTech Innovator and the BioTools Innovator 2025 Cohorts at the invitation-only Innovator Summit on June 25 to 26 in Mountain View, California. This event will bring together the leadership teams from the latest cohorts with MedTech Innovator’s partners, alumni, and other industry leaders.
