Bangkok: Tigo Energy Inc (Tigo), a provider of intelligent solar and energy software solutions, has announced its participation in the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2025. The event will take place from July 2 to 4 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand, where Tigo will share a trade show booth with BayWa r.e.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tigo’s Chief Growth and Revenue Officer, Jing Tian, emphasized the significance of the company’s collaboration with BayWa r.e., highlighting how global partnerships can drive innovation and quality in the solar industry. Tian noted that in regions with high solar exposure, Tigo’s TS4-X solutions and Green Glove programme are instrumental in improving efficiency and ensuring long-term reliability.
BayWa r.e. Solar Systems Managing Director, Junrhey Castro, underscored the importance of integrating advanced solar technologies into Thailand’s rapidly expanding rooftop solar market. Castro stated that BayWa r.e. is dedicated to promot
ing safer, high-performance systems through innovative solutions like those offered by Tigo.
At the trade show, Tigo aims to support commercial and industrial solar installers and engineering, procurement, and construction specialists as new rapid shutdown requirements come into effect. The company will focus on deploying high-wattage modules in high-irradiance regions and ensuring Total Quality Solar through its service programmes. Tigo will also spotlight its TS4-X family of Module-Level Power Electronics devices, which provide safety, optimisation, and monitoring capabilities for high-wattage and bifacial solar modules.
These devices are designed to be simple and cost-effective, reducing installation time and labour costs with a bolt-free design and compatibility with various inverters. Such features help decrease the Levelized Cost of Energy while maintaining high system performance and flexibility.
Visitors to the BayWa r.e. booth will also have the opportunity to learn about Tigo’s Green Glove progr
amme, a premium service initiative aimed at supporting commercial and industrial solar installers throughout the system deployment process. This programme enhances the installation experience and helps uphold high standards across the solar value chain.
