Kuala lumpur: Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and seven states are expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds until 7 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning at 2.55 pm, stating that the states expected to be affected include Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Selangor, specifically the areas of Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, and Sepang.
The warning also extends to regions in Pahang, including Raub, Bentong, Temerloh, Bera, and Rompin, as well as Johor's Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai, and Johor Bahru.
In Sabah, the impacted areas are the interiors, such as Tenom, Beaufort, Nabawan, Keningau, and Tambunan, along with the West Coast areas like Papar, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, and Tuaran. Tawau is also on alert.
Sarawak is expected to see adverse weather conditions in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song), Bintulu, and Miri, including Subis, Beluru, Miri, Marudi, and Limbang.
