Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to hit the entire state of Penang, as well as several areas in Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Sarawak, and Sabah, from 11 pm tonight until 3 am tomorrow.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a statement highlighting the specific regions anticipated to experience severe weather conditions. In Kedah, the affected areas include Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu. Meanwhile, in Perak, the regions of Kerian and Larut, Matang, and Selama are expected to be impacted.
Furthermore, Gua Musang in Kelantan is forecasted to face severe weather, while in Terengganu, the storms will affect Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman. In Pahang, the areas of Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan, and Rompin are expected to bear the brunt of the weather conditions.
In Sarawak, the affected regions include Kuching, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, and Bintulu. In Sabah, the areas involved are Tawau and Sandakan (Kinabatangan).
