Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain Expected Across Malaysian Regions

Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit four Malaysian states as well as Kuala Lumpur and Labuan until 11 pm tonight. The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a statement indicating that several regions will be affected by these weather conditions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the warning encompasses various areas in Perak, including Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim. In Pahang, the advisory covers Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, Jerantut, and Bentong, while in Selangor, it involves Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, and Hulu Langat.

The warning also extends to Sarawak, with affected areas including Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei (Pakan), Sibu (Selangau), Mukah, Bintulu, Miri (Telang Usan), and Limbang. In Sabah, the regions involved are the Interior, West Coast, Sandakan (Beluran), and Kudat.
