Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain to Impact Six Malaysian States and Labuan Until 1 AM

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting six states and Labuan until 1 am tomorrow.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia announced that both the Southwest and Northeast districts in Penang are expected to experience these adverse weather conditions. In Perak, the districts of Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang, and Muallim are anticipated to be affected.

In Terengganu, the areas of Kuala Nerus and Kemaman are forecasted to encounter similar weather conditions. Meanwhile, in Pahang, severe weather is expected in Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, and Kuantan.

Additionally, Sarawak is under a similar weather warning, with the affected regions including Sri Aman (Lubok Antu), Betong (Saratok and Kabong), Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Kanowit), Mukah (Tanjung Manis, Daro, and Matu), Kapit, Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Subis and Miri), and Limbang.

The warning in Sabah encompasses interior areas such as Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Nabawan, and Keningau, along with the West Coast area of Papar.
