Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning regarding thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to impact several states, including Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, until 6 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas include Perlis and several regions in Kedah, such as Kubang Pasu, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu. In Perak, the districts expected to experience these weather conditions are Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim.

The warning extends to parts of Selangor, including Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, and Sepang. Negeri Sembilan is also on alert, particularly in Seremban and Port Dickson, along with Melaka.

In Johor, the areas of Kulai and Kota Tinggi are expected to experience similar weather. Meanwhile, in Sarawak, the warning covers Sri Aman, specifically Lubok Antu, as well as Sibu, Selangau, Kapit, and Bintulu, particularly Tatau.
