Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Expected to Impact Seven Malaysian States Until Early Morning

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds that are anticipated to affect seven states until 1 am today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's statement highlights that Langkawi in Kedah; Kampar, Batang Padang, and Mualim in Perak; and Gua Musang in Kelantan are among the areas expected to experience adverse weather conditions.

The warning extends to Terengganu and several regions in Pahang, including Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, and Jerantut. In Selangor, Hulu Selangor is also under alert.

Additionally, in Sabah, regions such as Nabawan in the Interior, Ranau on the West Coast, and the areas of Tongod, Telupid, and Beluran in Sandakan, alongside Kudat, are on the list of areas expected to be affected.

Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions and remain updated with the latest weather information.
