Thunderstorms And Heavy Rain Expected Across Five Malaysian States

Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to hit five states until 3 pm today, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas include Perlis, Penang, and multiple districts in Kedah such as Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Yan, Pendang, and Kuala Muda. The statement from MetMalaysia highlights the potential impact of these severe weather conditions.

Additionally, similar weather conditions are anticipated in Sarawak, specifically in the regions of Sibu, including Sibu and Selangau, and Mukah, covering Tanjung Manis and Daro. This could potentially disrupt daily activities and pose challenges for residents in these areas.

In Sabah, the areas expected to experience the adverse weather include the interior regions of Sipitang, Tenom, Beaufort, Keningau, and Tambunan, along with the west coast areas of Papar and Penampang. Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with the latest weather advisories.
