Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for three states and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, effective until noon today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia released a statement at 9 am indicating that Selangor, including areas such as Hulu Selangor, Gombak, and Hulu Langat, is expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds. Negeri Sembilan, covering Jelebu, Seremban, Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Jempol, and Tampin, is also under a similar weather warning.

Additionally, Sabah is forecast to face comparable weather conditions, particularly in Sandakan and Kudat, which includes Pitas and Kudat. MetMalaysia has urged residents in these areas to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions as the adverse weather continues throughout the morning.
