Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to affect seven states until 9 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected states include Perak (covering areas such as Bagan Datuk, Muallim, Hilir Perak, and Batang Padang), Terengganu, Pahang, and Johor (specifically Mersing). The warning highlights the potential adverse weather conditions that these regions might experience.

Additionally, similar weather warnings have been issued for Selangor, affecting areas like Sepang, Klang, Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, and Kuala Langat. Negeri Sembilan's regions of Rembau and Port Dickson also fall under this alert, alongside Melaka's districts of Alor Gajah and Melaka Tengah. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated on the weather conditions.
