Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in three states until 7 pm today. According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia has announced that the inclement weather is anticipated to impact several regions within Pahang, including Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan, and Rompin. The alert extends to Johor, specifically affecting the Mersing area. In Sabah, the warning includes Sandakan, with particular attention to the Telupid and Beluran regions. Residents in these areas are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions due to the expected severe weather conditions.
