Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to affect six states until 3 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia issued a statement today specifying the regions at risk on the East Coast, including Kuala Terengganu and Marang in Terengganu, and Kuantan, Bera, Pekan, and Rompin in Pahang.
On the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the adverse weather conditions are forecast for the entire region of Melaka and various areas in Negeri Sembilan, such as Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Jempol, and Tampin.
In Johor, Tangkak, Segamat, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru are anticipated to experience similar weather patterns.
Meanwhile, in Sabah, the warning encompasses the Interior areas of Sipitang, Tenom, Beaufort, Keningau, and Tambunan, alongside the West Coast areas of Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, and Kota Belud. Additionally, the warning includes Kudat and Kota Marudu in the Kudat division.
