Three Premises on Pulau Perhentian Razed by Fire

Pulau perhentian: Three premises located near a resort on Pulau Perhentian were destroyed in a fire early this morning. Besut district police chief Supt Mohd Rozaime Ab Rahim reported that his team received information about the incident at 4:25 am.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the fire is believed to have originated from a business premises owned by a local trader. It then spread to a snorkelling service shop and a grocery store. Preliminary investigations revealed that all the wooden premises situated along the beach were completely razed. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from the incident.

Supt Mohd Rozaime Ab Rahim mentioned that the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the relevant authorities.
