Muadzam shah: Three family members were killed in a house fire in Desa Mawar, Muadzam Shah, Rompin early this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Pahang Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations and Rescue Division assistant director Mohd Salahuddin Isa stated that an emergency call was received at 4.11 am, prompting a team of firefighters to be dispatched to the scene. The fire tragically claimed the lives of a man, his wife, and their son, while two other children managed to survive the incident.

The fire also resulted in the complete destruction of the family's home. A neighboring house also sustained significant damage, with approximately 70 percent of the structure affected. Fortunately, all six occupants of the neighboring house were able to escape without injury.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the total value of the losses incurred.
