Kuala nerus: The Terengganu government is open to meeting with the organisers of RXZ Members 7.0 2025 to resolve the controversy surrounding the programme held at the Gong Badak Motor Circuit, Kuala Nerus, last Friday and Saturday. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar revealed that the state government recently received a letter from the RXZ Members programme organisers requesting a meeting.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Samsuri stated that arrangements for the meeting are underway and expressed hope for a resolution. He affirmed the state government’s willingness to continue hosting the programme in Terengganu in the future, emphasizing that there are no issues with the organisers. The state government has consistently allocated funds for the programme’s implementation each year.
Ahmad Samsuri mentioned that the funding amount varies based on circumstances and needs, without providing specific details. The RXZ Members 7.0 2025 programme encountered controversy when Ahmad Samsuri claimed that the state government was not invited to the opening ceremony last Saturday. Despite this, the event attracted approximately 150,000 visitors and caught the attention of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister allocated RM300,000 to support the continuation of motorsports activities, recognizing their economic and social benefits for the local community.
