Kuala terengganu: Terengganu FC (TFC) Head Coach Badrul Afzan Razali has been given until the end of the first round of the Super League to improve the team’s performance and results. President of the Terengganu Football Association (PBSNT) Hishamuddin Abdul Karim stated that TFC has three matches remaining before the first round concludes at the end of December.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Hishamuddin, who is also the Terengganu Youth, Sports, and NGO Development Committee Chairman, mentioned that the coach’s services will continue for now, with his performance being monitored and evaluated by the TFC club’s technical committee. The target set for the coach is to position the team in the top five of the league this season. Despite being on the right track, the team’s inconsistent performance has raised concerns among fans.

Hishamuddin emphasized that any coach or other changes within the remaining three matches would not be appropriate. The situation regarding the head coach’s position will be reassessed after the first round is over.

Meanwhile, Hishamuddin announced that 4,200 participants from Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore will join the International Golden Monsoon Ride and Run 2025 (IGMRR 2025), scheduled for Dec 19 to 20. The event will feature ten categories, with total prizes exceeding RM150,000.

The contested events include Men Elite, Men Open, Men Veteran Open, Women Open, and Women Junior Open, as well as individual categories and closed events for Terengganu participants. Additionally, IGMRR 2025 will host a carnival-style activity with exhibitions, sales, street sports, and cultural programs, expected to draw 15,000 visitors.
