According to BERNAMA News Agency, the former national Under-23 coach emphasized that a good start is crucial to boost the players' confidence and build momentum for the long and challenging season ahead. An opening-day win would also serve as a perfect gift for their die-hard fans, who have consistently provided the Turtles with moral support on various social media platforms.

Nafuzi expressed the team's desire for a positive outcome in their first match against Melaka, especially since they will be playing on home ground with many new faces. He noted the excitement among fans for the season to start and highlighted that a victory over Melaka would also boost the team's morale ahead of next week's clash against Selangor FC. Meanwhile, Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB) acting chief executive officer Mohd Syahrizan Mohd Zain anticipates 15,000 spectators to attend tomorrow's opening Super League match. As of yesterday afternoon, over 3,000 tickets had been sold, and there is confidence in reaching the 15,000 target as Terengganu football fans are known for purchasing tickets at the last minute.
