Terengganu Perkeso Disburses RM23.4 Million In Benefits To Insured Persons, Dependents

Terengganu: The Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) in Terengganu has disbursed a total of RM23.4 million in benefits to insured individuals and their dependents. The comprehensive disbursement aims to provide financial support and security to contributors and their families during challenging times.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the benefits include periodic and lump-sum permanent disability payments, as well as dependents’ benefits, ensuring a safety net for those affected by unforeseen circumstances. At a recent event, Suhara, a representative from Perkeso, presented a one-time Funeral Management Benefit of RM3,000 to Wan Muzalisa Aini Wan Mohamad, the widow of the late Nasrul Hadi, highlighting the support available to families during times of loss.

Nasrul Hadi, a contributor to Perkeso, passed away late Sunday evening at Tanah Merah Hospital in Kelantan. Prior to his death, he was traveling from Kedah to Terengganu with his wife and five children. Due to his contributions to Perkeso, his widow is entitled to receive a lifetime survivors’ pension on a monthly basis. Additionally, all five of his children will benefit from the pension until they reach 21 years of age, marry, or complete their first degree, as stated by Suhara.
