Kuala lumpur: Police arrested two men in a raid in Teluk Kemang on Sept 3 to assist in investigations into 12 house-breaking cases in Negeri Sembilan, Perak and Kedah. Port Dickson police chief Supt Ahmad Afiq Mohd Adnan said both suspects, aged 24 and 34, were picked up around 4 pm by the district Criminal Investigation Division.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, background checks revealed that the first suspect has 54 prior criminal records and is wanted in two outstanding cases, while the second suspect has 11 prior criminal records. Supt Ahmad Afiq stated that investigations revealed both suspects are believed to be involved in four house-breaking cases in Negeri Sembilan, three in Kedah, and five in Perak.

In the course of the operation, police seized several items, including bags, identification cards, foreign currency, fishing rods, a laptop, mobile phones, and a vehicle. Additionally, approximately 6.8 grammes of drugs were confiscated. Supt Ahmad Afiq mentioned that both suspects have been remanded until Sept 9 to facilitate investigations under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
