Kuala lumpur: Teledyne e2v, a Teledyne Technologies [NYSE: TDY] company and global innovator of imaging solutions, has announced the launch of the CaimanS imaging module. This new module offers a small, lightweight, and low-power solution tailored for demanding low-light applications.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Caiman module is built around the OnyxMaxS sensor, providing high quantum efficiency and high spatial resolution in the near-infrared spectral band. Its low noise performance ensures high sensitivity in low-light conditions, even below 1 mlx. The module incorporates advanced image processing features, such as automatic exposure control, noise filtering, histogram equalization, and binning, to deliver consistently high image quality.
